Week Commencing: Monday 3rd February
This week in school it was Mental Health week. We spent the week exploring 'Know Yourself, Grow Yourself' through different activities, such as knowing our likes and dislikes, what makes us feel different feelings and what helps us when we feel different ways.
In Well Done assembly were:
Harley for his great 'Personality Island's' based on knowing about himself
Lia for her great work on what makes her sad and angry, and what tools she can use to help when she feels this way

Art Week - Winter Art
Week Commencing: Monday 13th January
What a fabulous art week we've had! We have loved doing all our different art activities from drawing snowflakes, to painting a winter scene to our natural ice sculptures.
In Well Done assembly were:
Shafayet and Khadija for their fantastic drawings of snowflakes, where they improved each time

Happy New Year!
What a different week we've had with all the snow and ice.
With Arts Week now set for next week, we've enjoyed managing to get out in the snow to do some mark-making and painting.
Hoping to see everyone back next week for a fun week back at school.

What a lovely last week we've had. We enjoyed a yummy Christmas dinner on Wednesday and have enjoyed lots of festive games, singing and dancing.

What a festive week we've had with the pantomime of Beauty and the Beast on Tuesday, Foundation Stage's nativity on Wednesday (which was fab!) and Christmas jumper day on Friday.

Welcome back! We've had a great - and very busy - week in Year 1. The children have done amazing getting used to our new routines, classroom and playground.
