I have worked in education for the last forty plus years. I worked as a secondary teacher and then as an education advisor for Leeds City Council. Until retirement I worked as a senior leader in a high school in the West of Leeds.

I have only been a governor at Cobden since spring 2024 but I know the school from my days in high school and I was delighted when I was offered the opportunity to work with the staff and pupils again.

Cobden is such a vibrant school and I know that everyone works hard to improve the future for all of its pupils.
